1. They are used by people of all ages: from teens to professional businessmen. We can't imagine our modern school without using a computer. We can make projects, slide shows and even films at our lessons with the help of computes. Pupils can use computes to prepare reports, to find information they need, to write compositions, to find new friends with the help of the Internet.

2. The Russian flag is sometimes called the IMPERIAL FLAG. It consists of three equal stripes of white, blue and red. The first flag of this design appeared more than 300 year ago. Peter the Great adapted the flag from the National flag of the Netherlands. Later a black two-headed eagle on a golden background was added to the flag of Russia.

3. Since Ancient Times Nature was the source of people's Life. For thousands of years people lived in harmony with environment and they thought that natural riches were unlimited. The development of civilization increased man's harmful interference in nature.

4. The businessman in London usually finds it impossible to come home for lunch, and so he goes to a cafe or restaurant, but if they can make it home for lunch, they have cold meat (left over probably from yesterday's dinner), potatoes, salad and pickles, with a pudding or fruit to follow.

5. We are destroying the ozone layer, which allows life to exist on the Earth's surface. All of these activities are unfavorably changing the composition of the biosphere and the Earth's heat balance. If we do not slow down our use of fossil fuels and stop destroying the forests, the world could become hotter than it has been in the past million years.
